It is with great sadness that the family of the late Andrew Penashue announce his passing on May 4th, 2026, in Sheshatshiu, NL at the age of 57 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his brothers: Basile, Joseph, and Antuan; sisters: Catherine, Louisa, Emma, Rose, and Justine; as well as a large circle of other family and friends.

Andrew was predeceased by his parents: Louis and Mary Adela Penashue; and brothers: Maurice, Hank, and Antuan.

A wake will be held on Friday, May 8th, 2026, at CYN, Sheshatshiu, NL starting at 5:00 pm.

The funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 9th, 2026, from the Roman Catholic Church, Sheshatshiu, NL starting at 11:00 am with Father Joe officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
