Perry James Best
June 9, 1961 - May 12, 2026

It is with great sadness that the family of Perry James Best announce his sudden passing on May 12, 2026, in Happy Valley at the age of 64 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Karen, mother Martha Best. His children Craig (Melissa) and Corey. Grandchildren Breanna, Deanna, Evan, Sarah, Connor, and Colton. Brothers Barry, Terry (Sonny), Garry (Jackie). Sisters Ruby (John), Karen, Judy (Kerry), and Peggy. Sisters-in-law Denise (Pat), Kim (Dave) Renee (Barry), and brother-in-law Todd. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and any friends.

Perry is predeceased by his daughter Christen, Father Mark Best, parents-in-law Pal and Carol Michelin and brother-in-law John Hickey.

Friends and family may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Saturday, May 16th, between the hours of 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm.

The funeral service will take place on Sunday, May 17th from the United Church in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, beginning at 2:00pm with Rev. Nellie Thomas officiating. Internment to follow in the United Church Cemetery.
