Obituary of Flora Marie Edmunds

It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Flora Marie Edmunds announce her peaceful passing on May 17^th, 2026, at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL, at the age of 81 years.

Flora was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness, strength, and warmth touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.  

Leaving to mourn with cherished and loving memories are her children: James (Tony) and his wife Vida, William (Billy), and Renee; along with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers: John, and Pat (Lilly); sisters: Ann (Dave); sisters in law: Nellie and Phoebe; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

Flora was predeceased by her beloved husband: James; parents: Russell and Jane Chaulk; brothers: Lewis, Byron, Harold, Richard and Ozzie; and sisters in law: Agnes and Gwen.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 20^th, 2026, at Fillatre’s Funeral Home from the hours of 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, May 21^st, 2026, at Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL starting at 2:00 pm with Pastor Russ Austin and Rev Nellie Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at the Moravian Cemetery.
