Obituary of Beatrice Penashue
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Beatrice Penashue announce her passing on May 27th, 2026, in Sheshatshiu, NL at the age of 26 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Caleb, Drayden, and Lena: adopted mom: Helen Aster; birth mom: Mary Lisette Penashue; brothers: Nolan Pone and Shuashem Penashue; sisters: Mary Ann Aster, Danielle Aster, Christine Aster, Monique Aster, Agatha Aster, Mary Agatha Penashue, Mary Philomena Penashue and Nush Penashue; grandparents: Tommy and Agatha Pone and Sylvester and Rose Marie Penashue; as well as large circle of extended relatives and friends.
Beatrice was predeceased by her daughter: Mackenzie Penashue; adopted dad: Gean Marie Aster; and birth dad: Timothy Pone.
A wake will take place at 28 Matshateu, Sheshatshiu, NL on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026, starting at 7:00 pm.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 4th, 2026, from the Roman Catholic Church, Sheshatshiu, NL starting at 1:00 pm with Father Joe officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Sheshatshiu, NL.
