It is with great sadness that the family of the late Arthur Derek Fisher announce his passing on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at the Palliative Care Unit, Corner Brook at the age of 85 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 62 years Joan (nee Park); children: Todd (Brenda) Fisher, Brad (Deanne) Fisher and Tami (Sean) O’Neill; grandchildren: Matthew, Michael (Jenna), Daniel (Heather), Jack (Allie) and Sydney; sisters and brothers-in-law: Lillian, Don, Carol, Marg, Mary, Paul, Rod, Harry and Julie; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents William and Josephine Fisher, sister Rene, brothers Walter and James.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday, June 4 from 2-4 p.m. with the funeral service will follow immediately at 4:00 p.m. in Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel, The Venerable Ed King officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation, Palliative Care Unit.
