Thomas George Vincent
August 7, 1935 – June 25, 2026
Corner Brook, NL
It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Thomas “Tom” George Vincent announce his sudden passing on Thursday, June 25th, 2026, at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, at the age of 90 years.
Tom leaves to mourn, with fond and loving memories, his partner who loved him unconditionally for the last 22 years, Rose (nee Pye); his children, Robert (Patti) and Charlene (Travis); his grandchildren, Travis, Randi Lea, Chase, Andrew (Jacey) and Ethan; and his three great-grandchildren, Grayson, Kennedy and Mia. He will also be lovingly remembered by his sisters Carrie, Marie and Bernice and brother Terry (Nola), brothers and sisters-in-law, extended family and many friends. Tom was predeceased by his beloved son, Sean; his parents, Frederick and Phoebe Vincent; and his brothers and sisters.
Tom found peace and quiet in his garage, where he spent countless hours tinkering with tools and working away at “his stuff.” A true jack of all trades, he could fix almost anything—and if he couldn’t, he would find a way to make it work. In his earlier days, Tom treasured his cabin at Big Bonne Bay Pond, where he enjoyed ski-dooing, being on the water, taking his boat out, and spending quiet hours admiring the beauty of nature. Tom was also a proud Toronto Maple Leafs fan, his one and only hockey team, and he wore their jersey with pride.
In keeping with Tom’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no formal service.
As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador.
