Obituary of Edna Mitsuk

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edna Mitsuk announce her passing on July 3^rd, 2026, at Long Term Care, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, at the age of 83 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Patricia (Roland), Michael (Roxanne), Jennifer (Todd), Ralph, Donald (Connie), Lisa (Jim), and Robb (Sheila); grandchildren: Roland Jr, Randy, Jordan, Eric, Brandon, Adam, Mia, Megan, Kim Marie, Jack, and Braeden; great grandchildren; Luc, Ryan, Lincoln, Eliza, Heath, Bhodi, Iyla, Addison, and Avery; brother: Chesley; sisters: Susan, Ruth, and Elsie; as well as a large circle of extended relatives and friends.

Edna was predeceased by her parents: Abia and Mary Ann Mitsuk (nee Webb); her first grandaughter: Amanda; siblings:Ted, Eric, Matilda (Tilly), Harry, Donald, Barbara, and Millie.

Visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 7^th, from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 8^th, 2026, starting at 2:00 pm from St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, with Rev Nellie Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at the Moravian Cemetery. After the burial there will be a reception at the Moravain Church Annex for family and friends.

The family would like to offer special thanks to the staff of Long Term Care for their care of mom over the years.
