Obituary of Terrance Penunsi

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Terrance Penunsi announce his passing on July 3^rd, 2026, at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL, at the age of 30 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his common law partner: Uassiushu Pinette; children: Monica Pinette, and Scarlett Pinette; father: John Baptiste Abraham; brother: John Enum Abraham; sisters: Jessica Pone, Laureen Abraham, Mary Angela Abraham, and Cassandra Penunsi; nieces and nephews: Curtisha Pone, Emery Pone, Callahan Abraham, Markas Mark, Mani Mark, Benoit Abraham-Mark, Walton Mark, Kyson Abraham, Claudia Abraham, Landon Mark, Johnson Abraham, Sheydon Abraham, McKayla Rich, McIssac Rich, Eric Penunsi, and Callah Abraham; great nephew: Kyler Enum Abraham-Pastitshi; as well as many other extended relatives and friends.

Terrance was predeceased by his mother: Mary Charlotte Abraham; and his birth mother: Naissa Penunsi.

A visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home on Sunday, July 5^th, 2026, from 7:00-9:00 pm.

The wake will be on Monday, July 6^th, 2026, at 16 Nui Street, Sheshatshiu, starting at 3:00 pm.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 7^th, 2026, from the Roman Catholic Church, Sheshatshiu, starting at 1:00 pm, with Father Joe officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
