<p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marie Lawrence announces her passing on Sunday, October 9, 2016 with her loving family by her side at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre at the age of 94. Born in Grand Bank, she was the daughter of the late William and Annie Banfield. Marie was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Marie will be sadly missed and forever loved by her children, William Lawrence, St. Catherine’s, Ont, Emma Walters, Isle-aux-Morts, David (Rose) Lawrence,  Ont, Lorne (Elaine) Lawrence, Londonderry, Alberta , Ambrose (Ida) Lawrence, Isle-aux-Morts and Henry (Madonna) Lawrence, Rose Blanche and daughter-in-law, Edna, thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.  She was predeceased by her husband, Elias Lawrence, brothers, Ben, Harry and sisters, Ivy, Emma, Wilhelmina and Elizabeth, son-in-law, William Henry Walters,daughter-in-law, Dorothy Lawrence, grandson, Christopher Lawrence and great grandson, Brody Morris. Visitation taking place at Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle-aux-Morts starting Monday evening, Tuesday and Wednesday from where the funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 13, at 2:00 P.M with Rev. Maryrose Colbourne officiating, with interment to follow at Holy Spirit Anglican Cemetery, Isle-aux-Morts.
