He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 60 years Eileen (nee Fitzgerald); children: Danny (Christine), Eleanor, Bernice, John, Robert (Nancy), Janet (Todd) and Carolyn; grandchildren: Janice, Jessica, Sean, Hillary, Stephen, Ian, Laura, Ivan and Iva; step-grandchildren: Robert and Laura; great-grandchildren: Lauren and Brooks; brother Leonard (Kay) Doyle; sisters-in-law: Dorothy Doyle and Marguerite (Pat) Whalen; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Annie Doyle; daughter-in-law Susan Doyle; brothers Kevin (Rita) Doyle and James Doyle; sisters Marie (Joe) MacNeil and Rita (Walter) McShane. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 24 at 10:30 a.m. from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mt. Bernard Avenue with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
