It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clara Elizabeth Lushman announce her passing on Friday, November 16, 2018 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Centre at the age of 75 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Gerry (Glenys), Samuel (Trudy), Edwin (Aileen), Paulette (Gideon), Winston (Leona), Marlene (Jeff) and Brendan (Grace); 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; brothers: Lester (Patricia) and Gerald; sisters: Linda (Gary) and Ellen (Hughie); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband James Lushman, parents Everett and Louisa Hann, brother Samuel, sisters Florence, Millie, Greta and Nona. Friends may visit St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Burgeo on Sunday & Monday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Elsie Rose officiating. Interment to follow at the Burgeo Community Cemetery.
