Obituary of Douglas Tulk

It is with broken hearts, that we, the family of the late Charles “Douglas” Tulk announce his passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care on March 16, 2021 at the age of 80.
Doug (as he was fondly known) was born in Baie Verte, NL on November 27, 1940 to Stanley Bennett Tulk and Ella Mae (Mauger).
Douglas was predeceased by his parents Stanley Bennett Tulk and Ella (Mauger) Tulk, his firstborn son Paul Douglas Tulk, parents-in-law Gilbert and Julia (Butt) Pinksen; siblings: Bob, Aubrey, May, Clive, Gerald, Joan, Shirley.
Left with the fondest of memories his wife of 57 years Inez Tulk (Pinksen), his children: Jo-Ann (Mick Pennell), Paula (Shawn Fudge), Lorna (Lee Handcock) and Shawn (Pamela Oesch). His brother George (Rose), sister-in-law Amanda Tulk and brother-in-law Willis Reid. Doug was blessed with grandchildren: Ryan (Ashley), Brittany (Marshall), Staci (Jessica), Lexie, Victoria, Isaiah, and Brandon (and his mom Cathy); great-grandchild Sophie and Sawyer.
As per Doug’s wishes, cremation has taken place and due to the restrictions of Covid a service will take place at a later date when travel is permitted.
We the family would like to thank the staff of the Long Term Care in Corner Brook especially the staff of 4 North who took such excellent care of Dad during his last days. Also special thanks to Pastor Jeffrey White for all his visits while Dad was in Long Term Care.
