ANN BELLE MCISAAC AGUATHUNA, NL JANUARY 28, 1912 – JUNE 4, 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ann Belle McIsaac (nee: Rioux) of Aguathuna, NL announce her passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Thursday, June 4th at the age of 97 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children, sons: Ray (Dorothy) Alexander, Sarnia, ON, Fintan (Anne Marie) Alexander, St. George’s, NL, Joseph McIsaac, Aguathuna, NL, adopted son Manual (Nancy) Rioux , Missassauga, ON, daughters: Joan Cashin, Brampton, ON, Marie (Ryan) Alexander, St. John’s, NL, Agnes Heving, Albion, IL, Stella (Brian) Cowen, Richmond Hill, ON; 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; sister Rita McMillan, Burlington, ON as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents: Yves and Elizabeth Rioux; husbands: Leo Alexander and Palmo McIsaac, two infant children Fintan Michael and Colleen. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church in Port au Port West from where the funeral service will take place on Monday, June 8, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Terry Boland officiating. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Berry Head, Port au Port. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
