It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gladys Minnie Holwell announce her passing on Friday, April 2, 2021 at the Western Long Term Care, Palliative Care Unit at the age of 94 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Brian (Jeanette), Derek (Sherry) and Linda (Tony); grandchildren: Holly (Randy), Jeff (Natasha), Megan, Matthew, Kyle (Tiffany), Katie (Andrew) and Erin; great-grandchildren: Kaiden, Jase, Dominic, Leighton and Autumn; sisters: Melinda Daniels and Pearl Howley; sisters-in-law: Mildred Batt and Norma Burry; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her first husband Arthur Holwell, second husband Wallace Miles, parents Cyril and Thirza Daniels, sisters Maisie, Marion and Ruby, brother Bill. A private family visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Mark’s Avenue. A private family funeral service will be held on Monday, April 5 at 2:00 p.m. at All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Tanya White officiating. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, funeral service will be by invitation only. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to All Saints Anglican Church Memorial Fund or a charity of one’s choice.
