Ruby Marie Cabot (O’Brien)

March 11, 1936 – April 3, 2021

Ruby Marie Cabot of West Ste Modeste, Labrador, passed peacefully away on April 3, 2021 in the arms of her family at Dr. Camille Marcoix Hospital in Lourdes du Blanc Sablonat the age of 85 years. She will be forever in the hearts of her children: Emile (Mary), Alonzo (Aggie), Bernice (Bill), Brenda (Mervin), Bernard (Nancy), Sheila (Wayne)and Pat (Colin). Grandchildren: Rondine (Geoff), Emile Bernard (Laura), Melissa, Bradley, Brent, William (Cindy), Candice (Jonathan), Robert (Mel), Jodi, Alec, and Jack. Great-Grandchildren: Tyson, Erick, Kendra, Nathaniel, Jolie, Abigail, Brielle, Harper and RJ Rumbolt. Siblings: Alice Jones, Beatrice (Tom) Bolger, Mederic (Edith) O’Brien, Bernard (Maud) O’Brien and Leo (Grace) O’Brien. A large circle of nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Waiting for her at Heaven’s gates are her husband Patrick, Daughter Marie Francis, Grandsons Brian Linstead and Jeffrey Loder, Parents Leo O’Brien and Philomena Joncas. Sisters: Olive, Bridget and Louisa, Brothers: Clifford and Lawrence.

Funeral Services will be held at Our Lady ofLabrador Church, West Ste Modeste, Monday, April 5 at 3:30 pm. Following Covid protocols it will be by invitation only due to limited capacity.
