It is with great sadness that the family of the late Viola Jean MacDonald announce her passing on Friday, April 9^th, 2021 at Western Memorial Hospital at the age of 91 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Evelyn (Albert) Peddle, Dunnville, ON, Joey (Joy) MacDonald, Pasadena, Bob (Aggie) MacDonald, Halifax, NS, Kathy (Gerald) Hutchings,  Jeanette (Terry) Blake  and Bill (Lisa) MacDonald, all residing in  Corner Brook; grandchildren: Rob (Karon), Joe Anne (Ken), Jamie (Connie), Janesta Jo (Dave), Kelly (Steve), Jonathan (Penny), Angela (Adam), Stephen (Alyssa), Michael, Jessica, Brandon, Krystopher and Mark; great grandchildren: Chrysten, Maddison, Zachery, Destiny, Melissa, Ashton, Dawson, Griffen, Jared, Jaxon, Crosby, Michael, Lennon, Nathan, Autumn, Daniel, Breanna, Chase, Owen, and two little one’s on the way; sisters Ann (Max) Hale and Ray (Melvin) Squires; brother Robert (Barb) Bradbury, special fur baby, Rudy; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Allan, great grandson Matthew, siblings, Art, Gord, Joe, Don, Marjorie, Mary, Jean and Rene.  There will be a private family viewing on Saturday from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Marks Avenue, followed by a private Funeral service on Sunday, April 11^th from the Salvation Army Temple, O’Connell Drive with Major’s Frank and Rita Pittman officiating. The interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1037 Topsail Road, Mount Pearl, NL , AIN 5E9.
