July 6, 1924 - June 5, 2009
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mildred Blunden announce her passing at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre in Port Aux Basques on Friday, June 5th, 2009 at the age of 84 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories daughter Margaret Bailey, Guelph, ON; son Lloyd (Micheliene), Orleans, ON; grandchildren: Corey, Wendy, Dillon and Kirk; great-grandchildren: Cassey and Madison; daughter-in-law Patricia, Ottawa, ON; sisters-in-law Betty Jones, St. John’s and Ernestines Jones, Bay Roberts, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by husband Llewellyn; son Wayne; parents Huldah and Titus Jones; brothers and sisters: Jean, Phyllis, Ruby, Gerald, Harvey and Owen. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port Aux Basques on Monday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place from St. James Anglican Church on Tuesday, June 9th at 10:30 a.m. Reverend Mary Ann Boote officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Dr. Charles LeGrow Extended Health Care or to St. James Anglican Church are gratefully accepted.
