It is with sadness that we announce the passing of John Robinson on April 23^rd, 2021 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in his 84^th year. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Janet; children: Michael (Sherry), Vicki (Jason Higgins), Faith (Cyril Hogan), Noel; daughter-in-law Maxine White; grandchildren: Christopher, Sheridan, Janet, Shane, Danielle and Shelly; 4 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law: Ethel and David Earle, Brian and Christine Blanchard, Tony and Rita Blanchard. He was predeceased by his mother Ethel Bennett, father John Robinson Sr., son Sheldon, grandson Scott, mother and father-in-law Michael and Melissa Blanchard; brothers-in-law Patrick, Velroy and Myles Blanchard, sister-in-law Eva. Visitation will be held at St. Nicholas Anglican Church in Cox’s Cove Sunday, April 25 from 1-2 pm, 4-5 pm and 7-8 pm to a maximum of 20 people in compliance with Government Covid-19 regulations, masks and social distancing required. The funeral service will take place at St. Nicholas Church, Cox’s Cove, Monday April 26, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Kay Osmond officiating, to a maximum of 70 people. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, St. Nicholas Church or a charity of ones choice.
