Obituary of Willis Rumbolt

Late Willis Rumbolt.

December 9^th, 1949 – April 28^th, 2021

Mary's Harbour, NL

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Willis Rumbolt announce his passing in Mary’s Harbour, Labrador, on April 28^th, 2021 at the age of 71 years.

Leaving to mourn, his loving wife of 49 years, Jane Rumbolt, his children,  Gus Rumbolt (Lynn Ann), Ashley Rumbolt, Rene Rumbolt (Victoria Moir) and Samantha Rumbolt (Shawn). His grandchildren, Dillian (Hillary), Julia (Nathan), Amy (Martin), Ryan (Lisa), Darien, Reanna, Joshua, Lyndon and Meika. Great-grandchildren, Layla, Decklen, Miley, Maggie and Kinsley. His Sisters, Linda (Bruce), Ruby (Jack) and Emma (George). His brother, Albert (Mina); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Willis was predeceased by his father Samuel Rumbolt and mother Eliza Rumbolt, sister Viola and daughter-in-law, Tina Rumbolt.

Willis was a lover of the great outdoors, a fisherman and an avid moose hunter, but his greatest joy in life came from his family.

Due to COVID-19 regulations, a private funeral service will be held, by invitation, from St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Mary’s Harbour, Labrador, on Saturday, May 1^st at 2:00pm, with Jennifer Rumbolt officiating.

In keeping with Willis’ wishes, cremation will take place after funeral services.
