It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Shirley Lane Brinson known to many as, “Nanny Lane” at the age of 77. Shirley passed away peacefully surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Ford Brinson, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as her large circle of friends especially her close friend, Willie Loder. Her twin great-grandsons, Liam and Lane were the light of her life who brought so much joy, adventure and love to her each and every day. “We love you to the moon and back Nanny Lane” xo
We will continue to honour Shirley's legacy by living our lives to the fullest and always remembering to live, love, and laugh.
Cremation has taken place and by her request, no service will take place at this time. Her cremated remains will be laid to rest in Beavercove at a later date.
