It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden death of Brian Meade. Brian passed away in his home on Monday, May 3rd, 2021 at the age of 59 years.  Born on June 25th, 1961, Brian lived in Burgeo with his loving wife of 35 years. His only son was his pride and joy. Brian was a devoted husband and father. He loved watching hockey (Go, Montreal Canadians!), fishing and going for drives. He was an entertainer and could light up any room with his jokes and wit. Brian always put the needs and care of others above his own, and would do anything for anybody. He was an amazing man, who touched the lives of anyone fortunate enough to have met him. His loss will leave an emptiness in the hearts of many people that will never be filled.

He leaves to mourn his wife, Rena; son, David (Jessie); brothers, Frank (Marge), Gordon (Audrey), Clayton (Margaret), Aubrey (Gladys); and an extremely large circle of family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Shirley and Ernest Meade; sister, Geraldine and brother-in-law James. A service will be held by invitation only at St. John the Evangelist Anglican church, Burgeo Sunday, May 9th at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow that Burgeo Community Cemetery.
