It is with great sadness that the family of the late Vivian Brake announce her passing on Friday, May 7th, 2021 at Western Long Term Care, Palliative unit at the age of 63 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories; her twin, Vera, sister Phyllis (David) Sheppard and brother, Gordon (Valerie) Brake; nieces and nephews: Baron, Bradley, Lorie, Paul, Sherry, Carmel, Mary, Allison, Chris, Paula, Cory, Nikki and Dana; special friends Bill and Judy Caravan and Roselyn Earle; residents  and employees of Brakes Personal Care Home: Susan, Sandra, Shelley, Marie, Barb, Ruby and Marilyn; as well as many relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents Mary and Cyril  Brake and sisters Rosalyn Patey and Matilda Sooley (Wince).

Granting her wishes, cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. There will be an interment on Wednesday, May 12th at 4 p.m. at Mt. Patricia cemetery. The Reverend Deacon Cynthia Haines Turner officiating.  As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the MS Society.
