October 7, 1955 – May 9, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Herbert Pye announce his passing, at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at the age of 65 years.  He leaves to mourn with fond memories, Brothers Fred, Kevin (Marriet), Tom (Darlene) and Harold (Corina), his Sisters Dianne, Darlene and Joanne (Doug Doman).  He also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews and friends.  He was predeceased by his parents; Herbert and May Pye, brothers Myron and Jerry and sister Malinda.  Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Parish in St. George’s, NL on Wednesday, May 12^th at 10:00 am with Father Dantes officiating, followed by the interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Shallop Cove.

The family would like to say a special Thank You to the staff at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital for their care and compassion during our brother’s illness.  As expressions of Sympathy, donations may be made to the Bay St. George Sick Children’s Foundation.  Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre Funeral Homes Ltd. In Stephenville Crossing.
