ARTHUR ROY NEIL ST. GEORGE’S, NL SEPTEMBER 3, 1931 … JUNE 23, 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Arthur Roy Neil announce his passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at the age of 77 years. He leaves to mourn with many precious memories his children: Marlene (Edward) Messervey, St. George’s, Perry (Stephanie) Neil, St. George’s, Jimmy (Imelda) Neil, New Market, ON grandchildren: Sharon Warren, Shawn Messervey, TJ and Tiffany Neil; great-grandson Anthony Bennett; sister Margaret Greening; brothers Lew Neil, Harrison Neil; his buddies Rusty and Shelby as well as other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Leona; parents Harry and Mary Neil Visitation will take place from St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, St. George’s on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. from where the Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Maryrose Colbourne officiating. To honor Arthur’s wishes cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium and interment of the ashes will take place following the service at the Anglican Cemetery , St. George’s. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre.
