It is with great sadness that the family of the late JOHN CARROLL announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in his 80th year. He leaves to mourn his wife of 50 years Marina (Nee:Fahey); his eleven children: Clarence (Maureen), Mt. Pearl, Joseph (Toni) Stratford, Bernard (Joanne), David (Sharon), Pasadena, Ruth (Roy) Parsons, Grand Falls, Madonna (Rob), Margaret (Ed) Manuel, Pasadena, Linda (Nelson) Coddington, Della (Barry) Smith, St. Mary's, ON, Alice (Glenn) Penny, Paradise, Trish (Cordell) Wicks, Pasadena; as well as 22 grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn sister Veronica Pittman, BC; sisters-in-law: Pat Collier, Phyliss Skiffington, Floss (Guy) Freak, Gen (Jim) Hanlon, Glenwood, Carrie Carroll, Pasadena, Margaret Carroll, Peterborough, Olive Fahey, Carmanville and special niece Kay Snape, Peterborough; brothers-in-law: Don (Susan) Fahey, Philip Fahey, Glenwood, and a large circle of family & friends. He was predeceased by his parents Stan & Mary Carroll, brothers Jim, Jerry and Joseph; as well as sisters Mary Bonnell and Bridget Whelan. The family will be receiving friends at The Holy Rosary Parish in Pasadena on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. followed by the funeral service Monday, January 17th at 10:30 a.m. Father John Peddle officiating, with interment at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Church Street.
