Rosalie Gertrude Sheppard

September 19, 1940 -June 3, 2021

Corner Brook, NL

Passed peacefully away surrounded by her family on June 3^rd, 2021 at Palliative Care, Western Long-Term Care, Rosalie Gertrude Sheppard (nee Buckle) at the age of 80.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband of 61 years, Keith; her daughter Pamela Blackwood (Dennis); son Lorne Sheppard (Linda); her grandson Adam Blackwood who she held very dear to her heart; brothers Lloyd Buckle (Verna), David Buckle and Edgar Buckle; brothers-in-law Kevin Sheppard (Mabel), Lee Sheppard (Dale); sisters-in-law Bernice Buckle and Faye Sheppard.  She also leaves to mourn numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rosalie was predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Laura Buckle (nee Lewis); sister Joan Moss brother-in-law Clary Moss; brother Llewelyn Buckle and sister-in-law Norma Buckle

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff at the Chemotherapy Unit at Western Memorial and Palliative Care for the exceptional care and kindness.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private visitation will be held at Fillatre Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Ave.  A private funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 8^tt at 2:00 pm from Fillatre’s Funeral Home Chapel, 4 St. Mark’s Ave with Reverend Ed King officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
