Obituary of Derek George Mista Ben Andrew
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Derek George Mista Ben Andrew announce his passing on June 3rd, 2021 at home in Sheshatshiu at athe age of 28 years. He will be sadly missed by his spouse Laina Jourdain; children: Cailep Tanien Derek Andrew, Lilly, Philip, Michel, McKenna Andrew, Ezra Moon, Luna Joynislet; parents Clem Andrew and Richard Abraham; brothers: Richard and Peyton Abraham and sisters: Anna Marie, Jasmin and Manianish Andrew-Abraham; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by grandparents Lizette Abraham and Lionel Rich; great grandparents Enum and Mary Agnes; uncle Neil and Derek Gregory Andrew, aunt Christine Marie Abraham.
Friends visited Fillatre's Funeral Home on June 6th, and on June 7th at 22 McKenzie Drive at 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 8th from the Tshitshitua Shuslep with Father Joe officiating with interment to follow athe sheshatshiu Cemetery.
