Obituary of the late Christopher Packwood

September 30, 1968 – June 13, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Christopher John Packwood announce his passing. Christopher passed away at the Labrador Grenfell Health Centre, Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at the age of 52 years.

Predeceased by his parents John and Bride Packwood.

Left with many fond and loving memories are his wife, Michelle, and his children - Dylan and Sydney (Zachary), his brothers and sisters:  Annie (Joseph), Ernest, Morris (Joanne), and stepsisters Vivian and Melvie (Harold).  As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Christopher’s family would like to express to his many friends and extended family their heartfelt desire to have all family and friends in attendance at Christopher’s funeral service.   However, due to COVID 19 government regulations the funeral service will be by invitation only.  Friends and family may also view the service via live streaming.  The link will be provided later.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday June 17 at 6 pm from the Salvation Army Church, Happy Valley Goose Bay, with Major Byron officiating with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery.
