It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lenora Murphy announce her passing on Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at The Interfaith Home for Seniors, Corner Brook at the age of 85 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories daughters: Ruth (Michael) Courtney, Kettleby, ON, ruby (Gerald) Small, Summerside, Jeanie Murphy, Corner Brook, Ella (Rod) Terry, Irishtown, Barbara (Terry) Blackwood, Irishtown and Cindy Murphy, Oshawa, ON; sons: Donald (Doily) Penney, Meadows, Wilfred (Arlene) Murphy, Brampton, ON, Allan (Phrona) Murphy, Cold Brook, NS, Daniel (Lynda) Murphy, Summerside, Ernest (Alma) Murphy, Brampton. ON; stepson: Joseph Lyver (Irene), Corner Brook; special grandson Blaine Murphy, St. John's; 26 grandchildren: Donna, Vicki, Tammy, Adam, Audie, David, Sean, Stephanie, Alana, Christa, Keith, Karen, Joanne, Joseph, Mason, Danny, Iris, Pamela, Michael, Philip, Robert, Roland, Judy, Shawnna, Mark, Jennifer and several great- grandchildren; brother Earl (Rosie) Penney, Summerside; sister Winnifred Maynard, Meadows; sister-in-law Olive Penney; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Roland Murphy (1961), parents Dora and Thomas Penney, daughter Judy, brother Leslie Penney, sister Dorothy Ruth and brothers-in-law Chaney Ruth and William Maynard. Friends may visit St. Paul's Anglican Church, Summerside on Thursday beginning at 2:00 p.m. from where the Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 22nd at 2:00 p.m. with interment at the church cemetery, Rev. Sydney Payne officiating. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
