Obituary for the late Georges Ashini
April 7, 1962 – June 23, 2021
It is with great sadness the family of the late Georges Ashini announce his passing on June 23, 2021, at St. Clair’s Mercy Hospital at the age of 59 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Emma Ashini. Children; Manimat (Brian), Michelle, Megan (Claudia), Penute and Shikun. Grandchildren; Dante. Damon, Charlotte, Danielle, Eli, Daylen, Aurora, Neil, Gabriel, Wade, Sade, Darc, and Phelix. Brothers; Marcel, Joseph, and Patrick. Sister; Jackie as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Manimat and Penute Ashini. Brothers; Gabriel and Daniel. Sisters; Suzanne, Louise, and Janet.
Due to COVID 19 regulations a private visitation will take place at Fillatres Funeral Home, HVGB, Saturday, June 26, 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be held on June 28th at 2pm from the St. Anne Tshukuminu Church with Fr. Anthony officiating with interment to follow at the Natuashish cemetery.
