Margaret Mary PENNELL Curling, NL November 7, 1927 - July 6, 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Pennell announce her passing on Monday, July 6th, 2009 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, at the age of 81 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, children: Kathleen Compagnion (Wayne), Bernard Jr., Myles (Cindy), James (Karen), Joseph (Connie), Patricia Purchase (Derrick), Deanna Labine (Peter), David, Keith (Noella) and Peter Hackett (Anne); grandchildren: Mark (Carmela), Christopher (Angela), Stephen (Corrine), Heather (Brad), Michael (Michelle), Stephanie, Sarah, Nicholas, Joel, Tyler, Phillip, Nathan, Katie, Jocelyn, Joshua, Elizabeth (Tim) and Shawna; great-grandchild: Kira; sisters: Ada Myles (William), Elizabeth Hackett, and Patricia Dormody; in-laws: Edna Dwyer (Roger), Betty Hynes, Joseph Pennell (Margie) and James Pennell (Tanya), along with a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by husband Bernard Pennell (Oct. 2002), daughter Heather and son Michael. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place from Sacred Heart RC Church on Wednesday, July 8th at 10:30 am with Father Bernard Buckle officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Shepherd’s Fund or Sacred Heart Parish.
