Howard George Russell
November 7, 1947- June 25, 2021

It is with very heavy hearts that the family of the  late Howard (Hob) Russell announce his passing on Friday, June 25, 2021 at the Health Sciences Centre, in St. John’s at the age of 73 years. 

Howard was a quick-witted man who always had something silly to say to anyone he met. He was Known for his jokes and making people laugh, but also for caring and loving his family, always putting them first.

Our tough & wise “Hob” will be sadly missed and forever loved by his loyal wife Dorothy, children Clifford (Mallory), daughter Charlene (Herman), William (Kathy), Darren (Bobbi-Marie). Grandchildren, Aaron, Alan, Zoey, William, Lucas, Hannah, Kaden, Colten, Michela. Siblings: Laura (Tom-deceased), Freeman (Rosalind), George (Louise), Clara (Jake-deceased); in-laws Valerie, Rita, Fred; and a very large circle of family and friends. 

Howard was predeceased by his parents William & Levenia Russell, siblings Albert, Jacob, Norman, Melvin, Robert, William, Susannah & Redgeway 

Funeral services will be held at St. Andrews Anglican Church, Port Hope Simpson, with intermittent at St. Andrews cemetery in Williams Harbour. 

Due to COVID gov regulations the service will be by invitation only.
