It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roy Barrett announce his passing on Friday, July 9, 2021 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 89 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Verna (nee Crocker) of 69 years; son Gordon (Paulette), sister Geneta Organ, Ontario and a circle of nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his son Irvine (2011), parents Pearl and George Barrett, sisters: Jean Wattson (Henry), Doreen Tucker (Gerald); sister-in-law-law Nina Cashin (William) and parents-in-law Clara and Wallace Crocker.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, July 11th from 7-9:00 p.m. from Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue to a maximum of 20 people. The funeral service will be held on Monday, July12th at 2:30 pm from Fillatre's Funeral Home Chapel to a maximum of 40 people. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia cemtery. The Venerable Ed King officiating.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the SPCA.
