April 11, 1931 - July 9, 2009
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Vivienne Parsons announce her passing at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre in Port Aux Basques on Thursday, July 9th, 2009 at the age of 78 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, sons: Clarence (Debbie) Parsons and Wilfred (Wanda) Parsons; daughters Linda (Peter) Neil and Blanche (Clayton) Harris; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers: Ernest (Shirley) Hatcher of Rose Blanche and Ralph (Joan) Hatcher of Glace Bay, NS and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred; sisters: Nina Simms and Florence Allen; brothers: Phillip Hatcher, Clarence Hatcher; grandchildren: Donnie Harris and Holly Parsons, and daughter-in-law Linda Parsons. Friends visited St. Michael’s Anglican Church in Rose Blanche on Saturday and Sunday, from where the Funeral Service took place on Monday, July 13th at 11:00 a.m. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted.
