JUDY ANNE POWER Curling, NL April 10th, 1949 - July 12th, 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Judy Anne Power announce her passing on Sunday, July 12th, 2009 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 60 years. Judy was predeceased by her loving husband Donald Power on January 7th, 2007. She leaves to mourn her sister Norma Burgess, St. John’s; brother Bill Rideout (Colleen), Alberta; sisters-in-law: Doreen (Ray) Wall, Jean (Dave) Smith, Brenda (Frank) Layden, Judy’s rock and strength over the pass few years, all of Corner Brook, Phyllis (Jerry) Rankin, Nova Scotia, Irene (Gary) Bailey, Debbie (Blaine) Rideout, Rose Power and Yvette Ransier all of Corner Brook; brothers-in-law: Glen (Jill), Wally (Jackie) both of Corner Brook, Colin, Toronto, Tom (Phyllis), Tony (Susan) Power and Darryl (Lori) all of Corner Brook; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Fred and Mary Rideout, parents-in-law Walter and Mercedes Power, brothers-in-law Gerry Burgess and Max Power, sisters-in-law Joan and Marjorie, niece Linda Smith, nephews Felix Young Jr. and Michael Rankin. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Monday 8-9 PM and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 15th at 10:00 AM from the Salvation Army Temple, O’Connell Drive with Majors Calvin and Loretta Fudge officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy no flowers by request donations may be made to a Charity of One’s Choice.
