Obituary of Cyril Butler
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cyril Butler announce his passing on Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook, at the age of 80 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: his wife Grace (nee Brake); children: Douglas (Allison), Collingwood, ON, Calvin (Evelyn), Dartmouth, NS, Barbara Hall, Dartmouth, NS, Gail Mailloux (Jacques), Maitland, NS, Karen Butler, Dartmouth, NS, Brian (Elizabeth), Sackville, NS, and Wanda Janes (Brian), Brampton, ON; 12 grandchildren: Justin, Andre, Kayla, Samantha, Glenn, Brian, Tina, Calvin, Roxanne, Avril, Tyler and Amanda; six great-grandchildren; brother Douglas (Hilda) Butler, Foxtrap and sister-in-law Marie Butler, Mt. Pearl; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by brothers George and Arthur. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 21st at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street. Rev. Derek Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Receiving Chapel. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to All Saints Memorial Fund or to the Palliative Care Unit, WMRH.
