It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edna Noel announces her passing on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Masonic Park, Mount Pearl at age 87. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her daughters: Muriel Roberts (Mike), New Brunswick; Jean Crocker (Royburn), Trout River; her sons: Joseph (Carmel), Mount Pearl; Baxter (Isabel), Nova Scotia, Myles (Margie), Nova Scotia; her grandchildren: Shane, Kelly, Deon, Nicholas, Greg, Jackie, Mike, Jenny, Brian, Marcus, Jonathan, Andrew; her great grandchildren: Rebecca, Nickolas; brother Harold (Allie), Woody Point and sister, Gladys (Bill), Queen’s Cove; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by husband Thomas.
Friends may visit the Anglican Church of the Epiphany, Woody Point, all day Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Friday July 17th at 2:00 p.m. with Canon John Meade officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery, Woody Point. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
