The family of the late Gordon Joseph Simon regret to announce his passing on Monday, Aug. 1, 2021 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital at the age of 76 years. He Leaves to mourn his sisters: Mary Ellen White, Doreen (Bill) Andrews, Karen (Conrad) White, Linda (Steve) Neilson, Judy (Wade) Carpenter, Lillian (Lloyd) Retieff, Kathleen Piercy, Amelia Anthony, Leona Cross, his brothers: Clyde Benoit, Donald (Melvine) Simon, Kevin Simon and Michael (Marie) Simon as well as lots of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends like Sidrick Young.
He was predeceased by his wife Lillian Simon (nee Perrier), his sister Lucy Colson and brother Ozzy Simon. As per his wishes cremation has taken place and a grave side service will be held at the Assumption Parish Roman Catholic Cemetery on Brook St. in Stephenville Crossing, NL. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
