It is with great sadness that the family of the late Barry James Garland announce his passing on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at his home in Pasadena at the age of 74 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Faye; children: Bradley (Jessie), Michael (Terri), Shelley (Lee), Shelly (Matt) and Crystal (Scott); grandchildren: Calista, Finn, Brooke, Avery, Rosie, AJ, Bo and Olivia; sister Maxine; nephews: Ted and Fred; as well as extended family and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents Theodore and Fredrica Garland. Cremation has taken place. A public visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. to a maximum of 30 people at a time in compliance with Covid-19 regulations. A private Celebration of Life by invitation only will be held on Thursday, August 5 at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Home Chapel, St. Mark’s Avenue. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Western Palliative Care Unit or to the Pasadena Community Garden.
