Obituary for the late Charlotte (Shanut) Gregoire

February 28, 1947 – August 6, 2021

It is with great loss and sadness that the family of the late Charlotte (Shanut) Gregoire announce her passing on August 6, 2021, at the Labrador Health Centre at the age of 74 years.  She will be sadly missed by her children; Peter, George, Elizabeth, Jackie, Jonah, Jerry Andrew, and Jerry Gregoire.  Twenty-four Grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren. Siblings; Agathe, Napeu, Charlie, Joseph, Theresa, Kathleen, Tshimish, Adeline.  She was predeceased by her parents Theresa (Minishkuesh) Pasteen and Charles (Tshenish) Pasteen, her husband George (Shuash) Gregoire, Siblings; Napeu, Charlie, Joseph, Theresa, Kathleen, Tshimish, and Addeline.

She was known for her traditional crafts and her traditional way of life.  Charlotte sacrificed much to raise her Granchildren and Great Grandchildren.  She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Due to COVID 19 restrictions a private visitation will take place at Fillatres Funeral Home, HVGB from the hours of 3 to 7.  Funeral service will be held on August 9, 2021, from the Roman Catholic Church in Natuashish with Fr. Anthony Anh officiating.  Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Natuashish.
