Obituary of the late Herbert Pottle
October 5, 1936 – August 8, 2021
It is with great sadness the family of the late Herbert Pottle announce his peaceful passing on August 8, 2021, at the age of 84 years at the Labrador Health Centre surrounded by family and friends.
Herbert was born at Back Bay near Rigolet he was a fisherman, trapper and later moved to Goose Bay for work.
Left to mourn are his wife Geraldine Power, Children; Susan Dyson (Albert Dyson), Kenneth Pottle (Kathy), Edward Pottle (Patty Dicker), Geraldine Penney (Grant)Karen MacDonald (Jason). Daughter-In-law; Cora Pottle, Stepchildren Evelyn Hillier (Dave) Lisa Ivany (Richard) as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a large circle of nieces, nephews’ other family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Anita Pottle, Sons; Ron Pottle and Appy Pottle, his Father Daniel Pottle (Edith Shiwak), Charlotte Louise Pottle
Visitation will take place at St. Andrews Anglican Church, HVGB August 9th 2- 4 with a service to follow at 4pm. Due to Covid 19 regulations capacity is limited. Please reach out to the family to secure a place
