It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Davis announce her passing on Saturday, July 25th, 2009 at the Padden Home, HVGB at the age of 92 years. She will be sadly missed by her children: Don Davis, Den Davis, Gilbert (Joyce) Davis, Joyce Ruehmland, Ernest Davis, Archibald (Eileen) Davis, Annette Bauer and Pauline (George) White; grandson Clint (Hillery) Davis; 19 other grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren; and sister, Mary Head; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Percy Davis, son Edwin and daughter Ursula Davis; daughters-in-law: Margaret and Florence; sons-in-law: Franz Ruehmland and Bob Bauer. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 27th at 10:00 a.m. from the United Church with interment to follow at the United Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted.
