It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jim Fever announce his passing on Monday, August 23, 2021 at the Palliative Care unit in Corner Brook, at the age of 77 years.  He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 51 years, Ida, and his sons Chris, Stephen (Brigit) and David (Nora), his sisters Mae Power and Mary Dalton, and his brother David (Muriel), brother-in-law Calvin (Neta) Jackson, sister-in-law Marie Jackson, as well as a large circle of relatives, friends and Masonic Brethren. Jim was predeceased by his parents James and Rebecca Fever, brother John Fever, daughter Tina Deanne Fever, parents-in-law Phillip and Beatrice Jackson, brothers-in-law Michael Power, Bill Dalton and John Jackson. Cremation has taken place.  The family will be receiving friends from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 to a maximum of 40 people in the building at one time. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 26 at 2:00 pm from St. Michael’s and All Angels Anglican Church in Deer Lake with Rev. Canon Paulette Bugden and Rev. Madonna Boone officiating.  Interment to follow at family plot, Farm Road.  As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Janeway or to the Palliative Care unit in Corner Brook.

The funeral service will be live streamed through Fillatre Funeral Home Ltd  Facebook page.
