It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vida Loughlin at the age of 93. Leaving to mourn her Son; Terrence Loughlin, the joy and love of her life. Also leaving to mourn her Sister; Lorna Cook (John), Brother; Paul Barnes (Wanda), Brothers-in-Law; James Loughlin (Florence), Carl Loughlin (Mary {Deceased}), Roland Loughlin (Joan), Sisters-in-Law; Elva Simpson (Don {Deceased}), Linda Jerrett (Fred), as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her Mother and Father; Arthur and Morella Barnes, Husband; Chester Loughlin, Brother; Cyril Barnes, Sisters; Jean Hawkins (Eric), Marion Nichols (Reg), Mother and Father-in-Law; Clayton and Nina Loughlin, Sister-in-Law: Mabel Pahl (Arthur). 

Vida was a devoted wife and mom, We are so grateful for her caregivers who went beyond their work schedule for Vida, she loved them. Also a special "Thank You" to Dr. Wadhusa, Dr. Layla, Dr. Lafferty and the staff at the Pallative Care and Long Term Care Units for their kindness and compassion shown to Vida during her illness, she loved getting her nails done by Chris, Words cannot express how truly grateful we are.

Visitation will take place on Friday, August 27, 2021 at Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St.Marks Avenue from 10am-12pm with a maximum capacity of 30 people in the building at one time. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, August 27, 2021 at Fillatre's Chapel, 4 St.Marks Avenue starting at 2:00pm with Reverend Andrew Wright officiating, with a maximum capacity of 55 people in the chapel. A graveside service is to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to The Childrens Wish Foundation in memory of Vida.
