It is with great sadness that the family of the late Peggy Ann Ereaut announced her sudden passing on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at her mother’s house in Burgeo, NL at the age of 48 years old. Peggy was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, and friend. She was loved by everyone. Peggy was a caring, loving, kind hearted woman who would do anything for anybody. She had a heart of gold who loved to lend a hand in a time of need. She was her mother’s right hand and would stay with her to help her out and keep her company.
She was predeceased by her father, George Charles Ereaut, her grandparents: Philip and Mary Ereaut, Simeon and Josephine Spencer, aunts; Johanne Ereaut, Thelma Mercer, Vera Baggs, Edith Remo; Uncles: Amos Ereaut, William Guy, Ernie Marsden, Emmanuel Young, Godfather Jim Simms, Cecil Spencer, Frank Spencer, John Spencer, Fred Spencer, and Claude Dollimount; and cousins. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her mother, Annie; her sisters Mary (Todd), Maisie (Jamie), and Gail (Shawn); her brothers: Philip (Jennifer) and Jeffrey (Tammy); her nephews: Michael, Devon, Godchild Dakota, Logan, and Brady; her nieces: Stephanie, Savannah, Brooke, and Bethann; her godchild, Meagan; her aunts and uncles: Maisie Guy, Melba Marsden, Roy Ereaut, Louise Young, Bernice Spencer, Eileen Dollimount, Simeon Spencer, Maizie (Norm) Ricketts, Godmother Doris (Gerald) MacDonald, Marilyn (Frank) Lushman, Beatrice (Frank) Gillingham, Godmother Ruby (Jim), Hilda (Mike); her best friends Shelia Skinner and Daisy Brake, close friends Gwendolyn Green, Mary Gray and Rick Blagdon; as well as a large circle of cousins and friends.
Following Covid-19 Government Restrictions visitation and funeral service will be by invitation only. Visitation will take place on Friday, Sept. 10, 2021 from the hours of 3:30-5:30 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm for immediate family and Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021 from 2:00 pm- 4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm for family and friends at the St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church in Burgeo, NL from where the funeral service will take place on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Elise Rose officiating. Interment to follow at the Burgeo Community Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her Aunt Maizie Ricketts, Aunt Doris MacDonald, Gwendolyn Green, and Maisie Ingram for their kindness and compassion during the death of Peggy. Peggy will be greatly missed by everyone.
