Massey Drive Corner Brook, NL WWII 166 NF Regiment It is with great sadness that the family of the late Albert Piercey announce his passing on Thursday, January 20, 2005 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 81 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his son Danny (Kelly), Massey Drive; special friends Angela Batstone, Corner Brook; brothers-in-law: Cecil Warren, Winterton, Don (Marion) Chafe, Petty Harbour; sister-in-law Thelma Chafe, Mt. Pearl; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Florence, March 1996. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Friday 2-4 & 7-9:00 p.m. and Saturday, 10 am to 12 noon. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 22ndat 2:00 p.m. from St. John The Evangelist Cathedral, Main Street. The Very Rev. Lorne Gosse officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Receiving Chapel. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
