Leslie Job Gale passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the Western Long Term Care, Palliative Care Unit at the age of 94 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife of 70 years Carrie; his 6 children: Verna (Leroy), Eileen (Michael), Bob (Sandra), Bill (Pearl), Bennett and Kevin (Tammy); sister Effie Mckenzie; sisters-in-law: Rowena and Joy; his 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Leslie was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Hannah, brothers Clarence, Leander and Walter, sisters Betty, Marjorie and Peggy, sisters-in-law Martha and Ruth. Visitation will take place from the Anglican Church of the Epiphany in Hampden on Tuesday from the hours of 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 15 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Charlene Laing officiating. Interment to follow at the Hampden Community Cemetery. Covid-19 Government regulations will be followed during the visitation and funeral service. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Anglican Church of the Epiphany Memorial Fund.
