Obituary of Dorothy Ann Lavers

Dorothy Ann Lavers was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother sister and friend.  She left this world on Thursday,      September 30, 2021 at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre, Port Saunders.  She was a woman with a real generous spirit. Wishing you, God's speed as you enter a new and exciting journey.  She was 88 years old.     

Dorothy is survived by sons: Frazer, Malcolm, Eric (Marie), Larry (Rose); Daughters: Carolyn, Marjorie (Frank) and Laura.  Her beloved  Grandchildren: Troy, Joseph Lowe, Laura, Kara, Sarah, Hannah, Norma O'Brian and Natasha Bragg. Great-granddaughters Jada, Stevie  and Alicia Payne. Great-grandsons: Sean and Jaxson. She leaves behind her siblings: Rex Offery, James Offery and Grace Noseworthy, as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.                                                                               

Predeceased by her loving Parents Francis and Elizabeth Offery. Brothers: Milton Offery and Henry Offery. Husbands: Joseph Lavers and Brendan White. 

Dorothy was a strong independent woman. Dot's Bakery was a tribute to her legacy.  She will be forever missed.

A Private Service of Rememberance will be held at Fillatre's Funeral Home in Port au Choix on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021 from 7pm-9pm.        The Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, Oct. 4, 2021 at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, Port au Choix @ 10am. Interment to follow at Sandy Cove Interfaith Cemetery, Port Saunders, NL.  Remember to wear a mask and maintain a safe distance in compliance with covid regulations.
