Francis and family our hearts are shocked and saddened to hear of the loss of such a beautiful soul as Doris. She touched so many peoples’ lives including ours with her kind, loving, caring and understanding heart.
Doris has departed this earth but she truly has not left, for she is still alive in all of your hearts and minds, and through all of you , she lives on. The agony of loss is great but yet you will stand it. Had you not loved so much you would not hurt so much. But goodness knows you would not want to diminish that precious love by one fraction of an ounce. You will hurt but you will be grateful for that hurt for it bears witness to the depth of her meaning, her compassion, helpfulness, kindness, caring heart, thoughtfulness, and her deep love of family. She was a great person, a wonderful mom and grandma, loving wife, caring sister and a loyal friend. She will be deeply missed by many.
May you and all of your family be blessed and comforted during this time of grief and may the love of family and friends comfort you during the difficult days. In ways we do not understand, our loved one will be present in our lives forever. Family and friends will show you the way through this horrible pain and a way to smiling again. Something good will happen tomorrow or the day after that will bring wonderful memories of Doris. Just remember all the good times you shared with her and all the love she gave all of you throughout the years. A great soul like Doris never dies but will bring you together again and again. It's the little things, the small everyday occurrences that you'll remember--the laughs, the stories, and the smiles. And even though it seems like you can never recover from your loss, it is these varied memories that will help push the pain away and bring back the smiles. What will move through you is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch. You may not understand why she left this earth, or why she left before you were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, you will begin to remember not just that she died, but that she lived and that her life gave you memories too beautiful to forget. May the memories you have of your wife, mom and grandma plus the love that surrounds you help your heart heal. The heart remembers most what it has loved best. May these memories comfort you and bring you peace.
Remember there is comfort in family and friendship, hope in prayer, peace in love. Francis we are sending you, and all of your family, an infinite amount of love, hugs and prayers. Doris will be forever loved; forever missed , forever remembered.
