Obituary of Brandon Dominic Ryan

Brandon D.  Ryan, 35 of Port Saunders peacefully left this world on October 8, 2021, with his loving parents by his side, after a 9 month battle with cancer.  His stay at Rufus Guinchard Hospital was brief.  He was born November 23, 1985 in Corner Brook, NL. the son of Melvin and Ann (Scanlon) Ryan.  Brandon previously lived in Iqualuit, NU  where he worked as local area manager with Canada Post until his departure from Nunavut due to his illness.

Brandon is survived by his parents Melvin and Ann of Port Saunders, his Brother Adam (Shelbie) of  Port Coquitlam, BC.  He also leaves to mourn his grandmothers Imelda Ryan and Gloria Scanlon, as well as Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. 

Predeceased by:  Grandfathers Austin Ryan, Leo Scanlon and Aunt Amy Scanlon-House.                                             

Visitations:  St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church Port Saunders, NL. 

Sunday, October 10, 2021 @ 2pm - 4pm and 7pm - 9pm

 Monday, October 11, 2021 @ 2pm - 4pm,  Family Service @ 7pm 

Funeral:  Tuesday, October 12, 2021 @ 11 am.  Father Raja Officiating. As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, family requests random acts of kindness.  Thank you.
